Emergency Management

Emergency management is the process of preparing for, mitigating, responding to and recovering from an emergency. An emergency can be anything that has a negative impact on your organization or facility. What constitutes an inconvenience for one organization can be a disaster for another. A stuffed toilet can be a nuisance or an emergency depending on the circumstances. An emergency must be considered within the context of the impact it has on the organization and the surrounding community. If there are additional toilets available it is a nuisance, if there is only one it is an emergency. Standing Stone works closely with our clients to develop effective emergency management strategies to prepare for and recover from an emergency incident. Good emergency planning and preparedness allows your organization to prevent or recover from damages to property and financial losses, and it can reduce your exposure to liability and regulatory fines.
