Jeff was called upon to be Co-Task Force Leader in response to the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon. Internationally, he has been requested by foreign governments to aid in providing guidance on operations, protocols and procedures to incidents such as the earthquake in Taiwan (1999).

 
   
   

Jeff’s first hand experience has also included coordinating and managing hazardous materials response teams, being an assessment center evaluator for Captain and Battalion Chief examinations throughout much of Virginia and he has been the Inspector for the Fire Prevention Division, Engineering and Testing Section.

Mr. Donaldson has developed and presented hundreds of “train the trainer” courses and has made presentations regarding, American Fire and Rescue capabilities to:

• The Occupational Safety and Health Administration
• National Fire Protection Association, as well as to
• IThe governments of Taiwan and Turkey.

 
   

Recently Jeff has provided a variety of consulting services for the Ocean City Fire Department and the Ocean Pines Fire Department, both located in Maryland. These services included program master planning, analysis of current capabilities and a determination of allocation of resources for future needs. Jeff is also responsible for review of future design plans.

• Co-Task Force Leader for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Urban Search and Rescue Team, Virginia Task Force One response to the terrorism attack on the Pentagon in September 2001

• Represented Fire and Rescue Department at United Nation’s sponsored International Association of Search and Rescue Group annual meeting in May 2001
